Machinarium Demo
http://machinarium.net/demo/

It runs off the flash engine, so there is literally NO EXCUSE for you to not play this. Basically, it’s an old school point and click set in a very strange world of rusty robots. The reason you should play this is that it is completely unlike anything else out there in the market. Failure to play it will only result in your contribution to mainstream craptastic run of the mill shooters.

Shadow Comples – LA Demo

PLAY THIS

PLAY IT NAAAOOOOW!

K, basically, this is a next-gen Castleroid game that is completely awesome. Graphics are amazing, the story’s by Orson Scott Card and is executed well, and both the voice acting and music is top notch. And when you play it on insane mode it delivers a ton of white knuckle moments. Plus the level design is fantastic and gameplay is very innovative (being able to shoot people in the background effortlessly definitely adds a great level of depth to the game (no pun intended). ChAIR definitely knows what they’re doing with the Unreal engine and it shows.

So again, fans of the oldschool: download this NAAAOW!

Section 8 Multiplayer Demo – 360

This is basically a super powered shooter with a slower death-rate. You can uber sprint, jet pack, and depending on your gear you can lock-on, repair, shield, etc. Plus the respawn system is pretty sweet since you literally drop in out of the sky every time into the warzone. I can’t really say I’m pumped for the game, but it is well made and probably worth a look for shooter fanatics.

Lost Planet 2 – Co-op Demo

Let’s see, take Lost Planet’s controls (Which was actually pretty good) then add 4 player co-op against a very big and mean alien monster that’s epically huge? It’s that simple: awesome fun. So yeah, I’m pumped for this game.

Wallace & Gromit #1 – Demo

This is a great puzzle-adventure title. It has the same lovable charm that the claymation shorts do, plus full orchestral music. Another thing I’m really pleased with is that they took great care to make it look like a stop-motion film: lower frame rate, highly detailed clay textures, the unique mouth-replacing method of facial animation for the characters is intact (rather than a smooth animation), plus if you look closely they included the thread-holes on the eye-beads that the Aardman animators used to move the eye beads around for the films. Controls are a little better than usual for console adventure games, though they can be a little frustrating at times. Any rate, if you remotely like Wallace and Grommit, check this out immediately.
